My family loves this place! There's always something that everyone wants to eat. My favorite appetizer is the charcuterie board that includes all the different kinds of meats that they have, which is excellent! Otherwise, I usually always get the pork schnitzel served over mashed potatoes, which technically isn't on the menu anymore because they have a sandwich but I ask and they always make it for me. Great kids options, generous portions, indoor and outdoor seating, PLUS dog friendly! We've made many family memories there and when new friends come to visit, it is one of our go-to restaurants to have them enjoy. It's a little pricier than I'd like but the quality can't be beat. The vibe is casual but food is good and it's a great place to go even if you're not a drinker.

On a trip with my fiancee. Anytime we have the opportunity to check out a new brewery/restaurant, we always make an effort. We came into Charlotte and traveled down to South Carolina. It was definitely a hot day! They have an excellent selection of beer and food. Everything was tasty and not greasy. Our wait staff were extremely friendly and provided quick service. Although I didn't leave with any brewery swag, their venue is open, bright, and clean. They also have outdoor seating. We didn't sit outside due to the heat, but it's a nice touch to have covered outdoor seating If you're in the area, please give this place a try.

Cute place + cute theme I had the smoked turkey sandwhich, and it was amazing! First beer I wanted, they were out of. My second choice was pretty good. Service was great. I wanted to buy a shirt, but sizing was a little off. I recommend!

Sat immediately, served quickly, pub nachos are insane!, huge and good, pork schnitzel Holstein was huge and fabulous!, meatloaf was great, burger and salad very good.... Prices were fair, only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is that we were sat back in the brewery, but it was freezing cold!... there was an overhead heater but didn't seem to be doing anything.

It's been a long while since we've been to this local favorite, so we swung in for an early dinner...and again, we were surprised at just how packed this place was, even at 5:15 pm! Unfortunately, things didn't start out too good. We noticed that majority of the tables inside (and outside) the restaurants were empty...yet there were all these people waiting for tables! WHY weren't people being seated?!? Made no sense to us whatsoever. There were so many people standing around outside, you'd think the restaurant tables were all filled up. Despite all the empty tables, we were the 10th to be seated on the wait list (they won't even give you a time estimate)...and as it turned out, we waited a good 35 minutes or so. Again, it made no sense to us. I've never been to a restaurant where there were such a majority of tables empty...yet guests just standing around waiting. Ridiculous!! Also, there was no music overhead whatsoever. HUH?!? Up to this point, I was deeply disappointed...both with service and ambiance. Based on what we were experiencing up to this point, I would have given a 1 star rating. After a long wait (who knows why?!?), we were finally seated...to a nice table (though it didn't look that clean??) that was by the window. Despite the near-rude hostess, our waitress was really nice, and service picked up considerably once we were seated. My husband ordered some Beef BBQ Sandwich and Fries, which he didn't seem too thrilled about...and I ordered my usual, the Pork Schnitzel platter. This time, they actually had Brussels Sprouts, so YAY!! Again, I remembered just why I loved this restaurant. This platter is just my Everything! LOVE the Pork Schnitzel, but I also love the Mashed Potatoes that comes with it, as well as all the toppings (Ham, Eggs, Beats/Raddish?)...and this time, even the Brussels Sprouts. So for me, this platter was the saving grace of the whole night. And OH, their Root Beer is awesome too...and their beer, according to my Old Man. Despite the major disappointment with the initial service, I've always liked this place...largely based on this Pork Schnitzel platter. Still, the initial seating situation was just so ridiculously bad, my husband and I almost left. Also, again, no overhead music in a brewery?!? For any other restaurant with this level of nonsense, I would have easily given 2 or 3 stars, but I just can't give less than 4 stars...again, because of their 5-star Pork Schnitzel platter. I mean, what other place in this or other town offers this amazing dish?!?
